Profile

Hanbyul Choi  received his Ph.D. at the Department of Management Engineering (Information Systems) at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea. He received his B.S. in Technology Management from UNIST. His research interests focus on the effect of digital media development on user behavior change. Recently, he is interested in information privacy concepts and user perception changes (e.g., privacy business, privacy fatigue) due to the development of ICT. 

Main research area

Current major research interests include new challenges to information privacy, social representations of the educational use of metaverse platforms, and exploration of new e-commerce ecosystems.
